I have a config that works, but the query doesnt work, i can see it in hlsw sort of under the HL query protocal, but doesnt show players or the server name correctly.
-
yes it is them, mainly the monitor. Luis suggested this. --------------------------- Try uncommenting these lines in /home/tcadmin/Monitor/mono-config then restart the monitor: MONO_OPTIONS="--gc=sgen"; MONO_GC_PARAMS="nursery-size=32m"; -------------------------- and i have tried -------------------------- Try commenting/uncommenting "export MONO_MANAGED_WATCHER=true" -------------------------- Im still getting the same.

I am having the same issue with mono using 400% after the latest update.
-
I have done this and written a script and it creates a database and user with permissions and deletes when a user is deleted.
-
turn pure off in the config or in the match config, this is since the last update. just remove anyting todo with pure and will work fine.
-
if someone gives me the command line and server config i can make one up, or give me a link to the server files.
-
via the batch update, thats how i do it.
-
added in attachments, these configs work perfect, if it doesn't there is something blocking your query ports or you don't have correct files. COD_WaW - Linux.xml COD_WaW - Windows.xml

its in the csgo game config, or you can pop a support ticket into tcadmin and im sure they can advise you as well, you make to edit a file to enable some extensions
-
it was made when the first csgo beta was out, there has been about 3 updates since that which is why it should work on normal now. you can change the permissions, make sure you press update, and update all your game servers, also once done, you can try a monitor restart, it normally does take about a minute for it to take effect.

i use the same config i posted here, there is no issues with the config, it works perfect. make sure you have added the windows config in.
-
as far as i know it wont be on steam, but an individual game like cod 4
-
use the steamcmd tool to update it https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Counter-Strike:_Global_Offensive_Dedicated_Servers
-
i agree, be great to zip up files and backup to a ftp server.
-
just allow it, its much easier.
-
yes this has been coverd so many times, the extra 2 slots are for spectators, they can be turned off via the game gamemodes.txt, i just left them there and allowed the query for them.
-
that is just taken from https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Counter-Strike:_Global_Offensive_Dedicated_Servers word by word.
-
what if you add a veribal to rename steamcmd then it should work, not sure about the login though, think you can only be logged in once. what i have been doing for cs:go is when a new update comes out either rar the whole game up removing the server.cfg and other configs and adding it in as a update patch, or i just find the updated files and make that a patch as well.

here is a massive config i have made for CSGO http://www.immortal-servers.com/csgo/servercsgo.txt anyone is welcome to use and edit it how you wish.
-
if it doesnt work, just run the steamcmd then run the game server command line in run, and you should see it add to the steamcmd.

ok iv found a fix, its a bit strange but trust me it works. for some strange reason it need steamcmd to run in the backround when the server first starts but has to run under the same windows user so i made a simple config for it. all you need to do is rar up your STEAMCMD folder with all the files in it as you would with a normal game and run this first before running the game then the server will be viewable on the public list. once it has been started once you can turnt he steamcmd off, and all other csgo servers will work fine after. make sure you have the latest steamcmd updates. i have also done minor updates on the CSGO config. if you need the steamcmd folder i have please let me know. CSGO - Windows.xml SteamCMD - Windows.xml
