  1. Sorry, I meant if allowing access to that file, is there a way to override it in the command line? Perhaps I should just allow access to the main config file and web admin interface?
  2. Thanks w00der. Is there a way to force a certain port to be used for the WebAdmin ? I was thinking via the command line, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
  3. Might I ask what settings you use for IP and Port Settings in tcadmin? I use 7777 for Default Port and 27015 for default Query Port (which I don't think is right, but it works in HLSW but not tcadmin). Any special settings need to be done in the ini files perhaps to allow more than one per machine?
  4. I don't see an option in command line builder that would allow clients to change the default map. Anything I'm missing? It can't be left blank, and prefixing it with server doesn't seem to work. Whenever I use: FF-Barracks?MinPlayers=0?MaxPlayers=%slots% -seekfreeloadingserver -multihome=%serverip% -port=%serverport% -log=ServerLog I can only have one server online, whenever I put a second server up, it boots for a bit, then shuts down.
  5. How are people handling security and port usage for this? Right now I have join port for 7777 and query for 27015 however the query will not work. Web Admin seems to give a lot of control, and editing the ports could cause trouble.
  6. I ran it under one of the tcagroup accounts, as well as adding the user account as part of the admins group. Did not try running it directly as the administrator account though.
  7. I've never been able to get it to work with TCAdmin. Works fine if I double click the .exe . I'm using the dedicated server package available on the forums from Ubi. It seems to crash over and over with this error: Faulting application name: CoJ2Game_x86_ds.exe, version: 1.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x4b02b356 Faulting module name: engine_x86_ds.dll, version: 1.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x4b02b11e Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0011b064 Faulting process id: 0xdc4 Faulting application start time: 0x01cb8dc77450d89c Faulting application path: C:\UserFiles\test\GameServers\TC68844872327606508030314\CoJ2Game_x86_ds.exe Faulting module path: C:\UserFiles\test\GameServers\TC68844872327606508030314\engine_x86_ds.dll Report Id: b82e9f9b-f9ba-11df-8b0c-0026b98f5eb5
  8. Hello, I was wondering if there was a script available for purchase that did all the work on setting up tcagroup, editing the local security policy, and then editing folder permissions to only allow what was needed.

I'm working on one right now, but so far all I've got is:

    net localgroup tcagroup /add

secedit is a bit harder, especially when trying to not use a second script file.

  9. I haven't tested it yet, but thanks in advance Dan M
  10. Thank you for this, I don't suppose murmur supports multiple addresses on the same machine?
  11. I attached my SSHD server config. It works, but it seems #1 you must have Steam running and #2 it randomly crashes. Not sure if anyone else hosts SSHD, but maybe you can point out a glaring error. Serious Sam HD.txt
  12. Anyway to limit the player numbers, seems like it can't be queried and can't put values into the command line correct?
  13. Sorry for the mega bump, does this allow TCAdmin to enforce or monitor the player slot usage? What about limiting the TPS ?
  14. Yes, usually at the very bottom.
  15. I keep getting a disconnect error it seems with some of my servers. Maybe a problem with the ports. Anyone else getting disconnected whenever the lobby ends and the game starts?
  16. Does maxplayers work in the command line, if so what is it?
  17. -exec default.cfg -IP=#.#.#.# -gameport 31060 replace # with your base ip.
  18. I still get "Make sure you are logged on the Steam. (Failed to initialize Steam.) Make sure that you have the correct steam_appid.txt in your server_exe folder.
  19. Anyone gotten the +ip command line setting to work? Or a way to get that beasty 15GB per install smaller?
  20. What's your command line look like? It doesn't seem to automatically load any config files, so I have to set this: --config_file "C:\UserFiles\test\GameServers\TC18102640558035183413607\server_exe\server_cfg.txt" --ip_address 10.10.10.10 --port 27015
  21. I'm still unable to get it. When I run it manually from the server gui launcher, I get invalid ip setting or ip in use no matter what value I put in. Previously I was getting steam_appid errors. What file structure do you use?
  22. Method no longer works :| Anything to boost fps or lower latency? Thanks all!
