well its strange but a simple restart of the serviceman-service seems to have got everything back to life...will reboot the box when poss to see if it re-occurs

no error mentioned there, sorry its not the same error this time, its just not starting up the games at all this time. ill look into it further. The server had bad lag spikes all day yesterday so i ran apt-get for the security updates as we have been under a lot of dos/ddos attacks recently. After that the games didn't come back online, a reboot made no diff, i can start the games from the command line so hardware appears ok, just tcadmin falling over somewhere.

same thing appears to have happened again with updates tonight, these commands arent fixing it tho
