No worries, just commenting....

Have you checked the default config file for the game? Run the default config file and see if the game works and runs, then if its all running you can start messing with maps and mods. Start at the beginning...

The first request is something I had not thought about in terms of controlling services, I don't really see a reason for it personally as a reseller account is for the purpose of allowing the person buying from you to sell up to the slot count of the product, it defeats the purpose of the program. You can control the ips the reseller clients use and not allow them to use specific IP's. You do this for example in the reseller packages when you create them.

Sounds good TYTY

Teamspeak 3 - Error - virtualserver limit reached
Steve-TGM replied to Xelatyper's topic in Windows Support
Version 2 does work with the WHMCS billing module. http://www.VoiceMonsters.com is also reselling voice servers (you get to sell TS2 and TS3 in the same package) with as little as a 50 slot commit. -
I believe they only bill you for active servers that are running.
-
From talking with Luis, its on the list of to do items...
-
When Luis adds the reinstall feature, the client will be able to reinstall the server back to default and this would then fulfill your request?
-
You can do this in whmcs as well. Just add a user to the account, and give them access to support tickets.
-
This may be true for sub-users that have access to the game sever or voice server. I just think if your using whmcs and you utilize its billing system, its overkill to have support tickets turned on with v2. I know for v1 as soon as I moved from MB eons ago to WHMCS I only wanted the account holder to have access to support tickets. Now something that I think would be good to carry over from V1 would be the option to add links to say support tickets. If v2 is responsible for usernames and passwords for billing, I think that would be a security risk. Then again it still needs a way to talk back and forth with whmcs when a password is updated. If their was a section of v2 that could import or if a script was written to import the users tickets into v2 that might be of interest. Not sure I would use it but would be of interest. I just think that a ticket system when 90%+ of the GSP community are using WHMCS is not a necessity. Get the other features like ShockVoice, Bandwidth and disk monitoring is a higher priority.
-
If whmcs is already integrated within v2 via the billing api how would this differ? If the users are allowed to change their login credentials and emails within v2 and not with whmcs then their not going to matchup either way. Just curious though on your thought process here???

Run the manual update... then I would put a ticket in with Luis to give him direct access to your box's so he can see whats going on....
-
Not to be too partial to my vote, but wasn't the ticket system brought up a while back here: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=8192

Are you using a webserver for your v2 master? Have you checked the hops and traffic to and from your master to remote? Your not using a master as a remote?
-
Sounds great! Just waiting on 2.0.29 to try it out...
-
I have asked a while back and Luis mentioned its on the To Do list...
-
Did you assign a package to that user?
-
Side note Luis, for voice servers running Linux with libpcap running doesn't experience any lag thats been reported.
-
Yep, I don't know of any way to pull it via telnet either, but since the individual instances are listed in the browser in terms of packets/byes sent and received would it be possible to have that listed in the voice servers area as a column to add? Side note I was looking in General Settings>TeamSpeak servers their is a field for "Browsers" that does not have the "Browser" heading. Its just a blank header once you add that column to the config. So a small bug...
-
Is this feature not available for TS servers?
-
Does winpcap or libpcap have to be installed on all the boxes or just the master to enable this feature?

The updatetool worked great this time Luis.... I didn't have to run it on my Linux boxes
