REMOTE SERVER LOSES CONNECTION TO MAIN SERVER

im with clanbaselive,

 

 

 

we have a issue with one of our remote servers losing connection to the main, when we try to restart tc it can not connect, and just keeps trying to connect. But if we restart the remote server then restart the monitor every thing works fine for a alittle while then it drops connection again some times within a hour to 5 yours. Any ideas whats causing it to lose connection and cant be restarted unless restarting the whole server. other than that the main is working and so are the other remotes. The server hasnt gone offline we've checked with the provider and it is always accessible from remote access.

when i restart the console monitor and it tries to connect its says "no connection could be made because the target machine activily refused it" but our other remote server is working just fine

Sounds like the default IP you set in the panel for that remote machine is not the actual default IP on the server.

 

 

 

Put in a ticket and we can have someone look at it for you.

There already was a ticket and the reply was they couldnt find anything wrong

I did respond to the ticket. I told you to try connecting to the master using telnet or to use the server's internet explorer to browse any website. When this happens usually it's not TCAdmin. It's the whole server that can't make any outbound connections. That is why it works when you restart it.

Sorry im not here to ruffle feathers. I have really talked to ryan about it except that they hadnt found anything wrong, the next time it happends ill try ie and see if i can get an out bound connection
