Ark server linking - Linux server

Hey guys need help with linking servers. Linux Dedicated server

I am a bit stuck. I can join either server and when I go to the Obelisk and use the travel to other arks ... It does show the other server. Then I join that server and it asks me where I want to spawn with that character. I pick where I want to spawn and then it just throws me back to create a new survivor screen. I checked at download a character from Ark ..but the character is not there? I have followed a few guides but cannot seem to get it right ..

This is the command line. TheIsland?MultiHome=IP?Port=7777?QueryPort=7777?RCONPort=7779?MaxPlayers=8?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=1???AltSaveDirectoryName=Save2?listen -UseBattlEye -clusterid=ZA -NoTransferFromFiltering-ForceAllowCaveFlyers

As I mentioned in the title it Linux dedicated server. Is the Altsavedirectoryname right?

Any help would be really appreciated.!

Last time I checked you needed to run both servers in the same directory in order to hot-swap the surivors. But that was ages ago.

 

I see that you places 3 ??? infront of AltSaveDirectoryName shouldn't there be only 1 ?

It has no effect, really :-)
