FTP Service not starting

Hi All,

I am trying to setup an FTP Connection, at the moment I have it setup with the default settings, however, I am getting an error when the Monitor Console starts (see below)

At the moment I have the Servers IP address set with its internal IP 10.18.x.x and an Alias of the external 59.100.x.x

 

I do not have the ability to have this server connected directly to the internet, it currently has to sit behind my router

If it's behind a router, set the primary IP as the LAN ip.

Set the external IP as the Firewall IP.

 

Then at the Server IPs, make sure only the LAN IP is there.

You can set the hostname on the LAN IP there as the external IP so clients would see the external IP

 

Set the port forward on the router and you should be good to go.
