RustDedicated_Data/Managed/**.dll: Access is denied.

Hi im having issues extracting files into my game folders i have looked for every solution under the sun to find out why .dll files are not extracting. Ive looked up linux forums, even these forums and only thing i can find is that it was previously and issue with v1 but changing ftp manager permissions did not help.

 

i get error

 

RustDedicated_Data/Managed/Facepunch.Console.dll: Access is denied.

 

It was previous

RustDedicated_Data/Managed/Assembly.CSharp.dll: Access is denied.

Ok after some linux searching, i came across a post explaining that the files need to be overwritten, I cannot belive i did not find this anywhere on your forums. such a simple issue also

 

use unzip -o filename.zip -d /path/to/file

Why should you be able to find this on these forums? It's a problem related to that game with the permissions on your server. It has nothing to do with TCAdmin itself.
