When is it crashing? I have one running on the demo server and it hasn't crashed.

I'm pretty sure i'm missing something really obvious but I can't seem to start a Modhau server on Server 2016 successfully. Here's what the activity log shows:

I knew it was something simple. Just had one of those mind block occasions.

 

Embarassingly, Visual Studio wasn't installed. oops.

 

Installed from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads If anyone has similar issues.

 

Got it working now but I do have one question. On a MC server you can limit the amount of memory in the command line. Simple. How is it done on Mordhau and other servers? There doesn't seem to be anyway in the service settings or command line when setting it up or after it's been setup, to specify these amounts.

If the game doesn't have command line parameters to limit memory usage the only way is to create a query monitoring rule that restarts the game server if it's using too much memory. https://help.tcadmin.com/Query_Monitoring#Rule_Detection_Examples

You have to set it up in the Custom & Default Variables page. Then it will show on the commanline manager on the clients game panel
