Fix for Windows Defender detecting TCAdminServiceLauncher.exe

The latest update to Windows Defender definitions was detecting TCAdminServiceLauncher.exe as a trojan. I reported this to Microsoft. They fixed the false positive and provided this fix:

We have removed the detection. Please follow the steps below to clear cached detection and obtain the latest malware definitions.

1. Open command prompt as administrator and change directory to c:\Program Files\Windows Defender

2. Run “MpCmdRun.exe -removedefinitions -dynamicsignatures”

3. Run "MpCmdRun.exe -SignatureUpdate"

Alternatively, the latest definition is available for download here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/definitions

It might be worth signing the executables with a certificate. This reduces the chance of false positives.

A side benefit is that it also prevents the security warning which we get when downloading and installing TCAdmin in Internet Explorer or Edge.
