Killing Floor 2 problem

Hi guys

 

i have a problem with KF2 , i not succeed to start the game with the panel , it start the process and close it instantly.

if i start the process by myself with KFserver.exe it work fine.

I try with the default game config and the game config from somoene in the forum and same result.

 

Some have any idea ? thank you

Hi, on windows server 2016/2019 the only way the game will work is if you stop the service manager, kill all TCAdminServiceLauncher.exe procceses and start the service manager in console mode.

i look in the TCAdminServiceManager.exe.config and i dont find to start in console mod.

Start > Administrative Tools > Services. Stop the service manager service.

open a command prompt as administrator and execute:

taskkill /f /im TCAdminServiceLauncher.exe

Then go to start > programs > tcadmin 2 > start service manager console.

 

Another option might be to configure the game to run as local system instead of tcagame but don't do this if you are selling the game server to somebody else.

But a other thing , when my server restart ( like this night is shut down for no reason) the service restart but not in console mod.

How can i make it to start by himself in console mode ?
