badster Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 I've searched the forum and set up the BF2 with BF2CC install as described. I have the necessary .xml files needed for BF2 edited with the variables that need to be replaced. During the install, the variables are all properly populated. The problem is, the Daemon doesn't seem to see the config.xml because it still prompts for information through the Daemon Configuration dialogue (Path to folder, Daemon IP and password). I can't figure out why it isn't seeing those settings since they are already in the config? I have the following files customized: users.xml config.xml default.profile serversettings.con (in proper directory) default.cfg It IS properly populating those files, but the Daemon configuration dialogue still pops up without any of those settings populated. Any idea on how to make BF2CC automatically read the configs and start the server without the prompt? I've been at it for 2+ hours. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not really sure how, I just waited to see which files got modified when I manually input the settings and then pasted the contents of those files in my Default Config area, and not it works.
