Daersun Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 From the time I unbox a new server, install windows do updates patches drivers monitoring software install tcadmin install booster setup install ips rack it configure the switch configure all of my internal software I'm looking at around the 4-5 hour mark. Granted most of the time is sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for windows to finish installing/updating/rebooting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just lay down a image of a drive, add the new IP's and whammo. good to go. LOL Of course the hardware and mobo should be identical from the machine the image was cast. I think the difference is external systems. We do quite a bit of external monitoring to make sure that if a server goes down I get driven nuts.
