ECF
Not that we mind helping, but please people try a simple Google search before requesting that someone explain something that is pasted all over the internet. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=HPIA,HPIA:2006-38,HPIA:en&q=Counterstrike+creating+%2eres+files

dantheman420
where do i stick the .res file? in the maps folder with the .bsps?
Piper
the .res goes in the maps on your redirect along with the bzips or bsps. The is also a map pak file system that you could use to compile everything into the bsp before you bzip it.The only down fall to that is the clients will get an error if the connect to a server with the same custom map that used the .res way . just do a search on the steam forums ..If im not mistaken i think its sticked in the dedicated server section.
