ECF
We have released a BETA update within the update system for folks to install and try out if they like. Please remember this is a beta and is for testing purposes, it is not a full stable release. Keep this in mind before installing. We have had very few reports of problems with it so far from the users that have installed, but please be cautious about putting this into a production environment. The update includes the following: - Query and RCON support for BF2 (set compatibility to Battefield2 ) - Includes support for game switching. - Includes support for scripting. The SDK documentation is located in your TCAdmin installation folder. - If the MenuIcons folder is changed in the template settings, all images point to that folder. - FTP server has been tested and now works with MBL. - Under some configurations TCAdmin showed duplicate IPs. This has been fixed. - Removed the blank command line validation in automatic game server creation so games that don't take command lines work correctly. - Added a button to manually update the license in the About page. Great for updating your license after purchasing extra remotes

LFA
All of you running the beta keep this in mind: If you install a new remote server, the files installed by TCAdminSetup.exe are not compatible with the beta version. What you would have to do is copy the monitor files from the master to that remote. Just the files in the monitor folder, not the subfolders. ECF
People, please keep in mind this is still a beta update. it is not meant to be pushed into a production environment In outher words, please do not run this update unless you honestly can afford a little downtime in case the update process does not go as planned. I was willing to beta before they released the update and was quick to do so. They had said nothing about what some one should do if they installed the beta update previous to their finding the problem.

DougK94
TC's beta versions have usually been more stable than many other's final versions At least that has been my experience
LFA
The problem isn't really the beta. It's the exe that updates the files (webupdatetool.exe) which hasn't changed since before going public. The problem has always been there, but a month and a half ago when we released the last stable version, we didn't have as many people using TCAdmin as we do today, so we only had a small amount of clients that needed manual updates. The only real problem we are having with the beta is with people installing new remotes. The beta is not compatible with the files included in the installer so they have to do a manual update. That problem will go away when we release a new stable version and update the installer.
