Variable
Under the FTP setup are all of these extension necessary to be restricted? It makes it hard to upload mods for customers. Is it wise to unrestrict them all or just certain extension? exe, com, dll, bat, cmd, vbs, pif, scr
ECF
If you unrestrict them all you run a very good chance of two things. 1. Someone uploading a bad executable or other malicious file and doing damage to your server. 2. Clients downloading the server installations and running off with them. You should use the MOD system built into TCAdmin to create and publish popular mods. That way users can install them with a couple of mouse clicks, and you can include whatevere files you like in the zip file. Security above all else. One slip and you lose a server and who knows how many clients?
Variable
That make sense... So, if I zip the mod and place it in TCA.mods how will the customer add the mod into their game file automatically. I did not see an option in their TCAdmin controls to do that or I maight have overlooked that option.
