You could run the TCA master on a VPS, but I would shy away from using a VPS for hosting the gameservers themselves.

hehe, Shy away is an understatment. I would block off with all my strength and keep a barge pole at close range (to make sure I dont have a game server on a VPS). Definately dont use a VPS for your game servers for obvious reasons. You can get some really cheap VPSs for the web server which will do the job you require perfectly.
