Does changing the priority to high or realtime effect the performance of a 100 tic CS:Source server in comparrison to normal?

It just give it the higher priority on the processor for starts and restarts. I think.

It just gives it priority over CPU time. It does not boost the game in any way that I am aware of.

 

Basically if you had say 5 server on a box, and you set one to high proiority, that server gets first shot at the CPU(s) before the other games.

 

However this can cause problems with the other games etc...

 

In a nutshell, it is not recommended.

changing priority is useless unless youre maxing cpu time. process accounting is lame for game servers.

Possibly removing that option should added to the features list.?

Some games do need it. I just can't remember off the top of my head which ones.

 

So we can't remove it.
