Load Balancing

sup pals,

 

 

i have some question for you i have a dual quad core Xeon and i wonder what i the best way to balance the load across all cores! i tryed seting it up on all cores (uses all the afinitys) but ehre are my results! i dlike some opignons from you guys thr pros thanks;)

Leave all the boxes "unchecked" in the panel, and windows will balance them across all cores for you.

i heard that windows load balancing is crap:S any opinion guys?

oh guys i forgot to mension, this is with all the affintys checked from 0 to 7! i am trying same thing tonight but with no affintys as ECF suggested. Ill keep u updated

If you check all of the boxes it will only bind to the first one you check, which would be CPU0.

didnt know that! anyways right now all boxes are unchecked and will se tonight;)

hey boys ok i tryed tonight leaving all cores unchecked on tcadmin and having them all checked on the processes here is the screenshot of the load but, its not good! the load is way to high on CPU 0 and not load ballancing....

Try setting the "Start on CPU 0" option for your games.
