Changing FTP Port

Hi,

 

When we initially installed TC, we set the FTP port for each server to Port 27. This was so as to not conflict with Port 21 being used by our existing FTP server software.

 

Now that we've finally finished migrating our customers onto TC, we can now do away with the old FTP server software, freeing up Port 21, so we now want to change all the TC Servers FTP Port to 21.

 

Now, I can see where to change the FTP Port for the Servers, but I'm curious what will happen when I do this? Things like, will services need to be restarted or users reconfigured, or will it all be automatic and will change on the fly?

Once you set it the port in the server settings you will need to restart the master monitor program. That is it.
