Kuwl
Does anyone know how to have the CSS servers use a higher quality codec or boost the quality of the codec that valve uses? I've been in servers where it is clear and others where it isn't clear...

Kuwl
isn't the coded vaudio_speex ? also, sv_voicequality isn't a valid command?
ECF
sv_voicecodec voice_speex sv_voicequality is only for CS 1.6 I believe. Also, please try to keep your posts in the correct forum. This forum is for config files not questions about them. **Moving to Gameserver Help Forum***
Kuwl
My bad. I must have been browsing a different forum when I posted. I swear I was posting here and not wherever I posted (actually, where did I post now that you've got my attention ) As for the correct command, sv_voicecodec vaudio_speex is the correct way. We had voice_speex before and it didn't work and I didn't have time to test out earlier whether vaudio_speex fixed it or not, and it does. Also, sv_voicequality is for 1.6 only. thanks for your help! *edit* Oops. I definately was in the wrong forum. I found where I was at. My bad ECF. I won't try to do 10 things at once next time I'm posting ;-)
