JasonF
I dug around the forums and the control panel and I did not see this answer. I am looking to control dll restrictions at a user level. I have a client that is adding a mod that is updated frequently. I know the person and trust they won't upload a malicious script. Is it possible to allow this person to upload dlls but not everyone else? Based on what I saw in the control panel it looks like changing the dlls permission will give all users the ability to upload them.
adamnp
Yes it will, A way you could do this is to install a Bulletproof FTPD server, or another such ftp server, put it on port 31 or something, and give only that client un-restricted access to his TCA root folder, and subfolders. Install it as a service, set , leave, and forget...
ECF
Yes. You would need an external FTP program running if you wanted to do this. The file extension blocks are system wide, so disabling them would allow anyone to upoload one.
