File Server with NAT

I have access to see all the files on the file server, but when someone tries to upload to that game servers file server, it attempts to connect to the inside IP of the master server. i have changed this in the FTP settings, but can't find where I must change it to the external IP for the file server.

Go to System Settings > Servers > Click on the master server.

Where it says "External IP for PASV Mode" enter the public ip.

 

You will have to open ports 5000 to 5100 in your firewall for passive mode to work.

Did that, it still shows as connecting to the inside IP. Do I need to restart something?

Yes select "Restart Monitor" from the list in System Settings > Servers.

btw, the actual ftp server is working on the nonstandard port of 2121

oops. Ive done something wrong. i restarted the server and now get "could not create server plugin". Please advise.

seems to be restarted ok. However now when I login to the ftp I cant send commands such as 'dir and 'ls'. (not using file manager, it still shows as internal IP)
