LFA
What's new in beta 2: - Added support for Ventrilo. - Added dependencies to the configuration file generator. You can show/hide items based on the value of another variable. - Added other minor tweaks and fixes. You can get the configuration file for Ventrilo here Notes: - Right now ventrilo servers can only be created using the create game and voice server page. The final version will include manual creation, the same way as you do with Teamspeak. - The public version of Ventrilo has the following restrictions: 1- by default it binds to all ips (or at least the primary ip based on some testing we did) 2- The ip, port and slots can't be changed. Port 3784 and 8 slots is hard coded. In other words, you can only have one public 8 slot ventrilo server running on each machine. To run more than one server you need the pro version. ECF
Thank you for pointing that out Jaggl. Preview is indeed not showing any longer. I will have LFA look at it. This should be fixed today.
LFA
Update to the beta marked as 2.1. This will fix the problem you are having. Check the ventrilo configuration I posted so you can see how the parent variables work. See the configuration for file ventrilo_srv.ini, VoiceCodec and VoiceFormat items. ECF
It does a comparison between one variable to another. Lets say variable #1 can be set to either 1 or 2. If you use this feature you can setup variable #2 to check and see what you set variable 1 to, and will change the variable based on the first ones answer. LFA
Import the configuration file for ventrilo and look at the config editor for ventrilo_srv.ini. See the item named VoiceCodec. The vaiable for VoiceCodec is %VoiceCodec%. It is a combobox with values 0,1,2,3. Under that item you see VoiceFormat 4 times. If you look at each of them you will see that parent variable is %VoiceCodec%, but each one has a different parent value. 0,1,2,3,4. The one that has parent value 0 is only visible when VoiceCodec = 0 The one that has parent value 1 is only visible when VoiceCodec = 1 The one that has parent value 2 is only visible when VoiceCodec = 2 The one that has parent value 3 is only visible when VoiceCodec = 3 In the preview if you change the codec you will see different voice formats for each codec you select.
