Hi there i have just got my self a dedi server running windows 2003 for my clan and we are looking into a control panel and i have a question about tc admin

1. do i just need the master License to install the games and to admin the servers

2. is the control panel easy to install because i read about i need

Microsoft Data Access Components 2.6 or greater

- If you are using MySQL© as your database server you will need MySQL© ODBC Drivers 3.51 (Included within the install package) And you will also need to have MYSql© 4.1 installed and running on your server.

as i have no idea on how to install them

thank you.

For an Access database, you can get MDAC 2.6 here at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/data/aa937730.aspx if you need it.

Then you can watch this tutorial on installing TCAdmin using Access. http://tcadmin.com/onlinehelp/admin/access.htm

Access should be sufficient esp if this is for only 1 server and only your clan will be utilizing it.

For MySQL, 1st you would need to download and install using the MySQL installer for windows. http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/4.1.html#win32

Then you can watch this tutorial on how to install TCAdmin and set it up to use MySQL. http://tcadmin.com/onlinehelp/admin/mysql.htm

MDAC is already installed by default with windows 2003. No need to install it. If you are simply a clan running a few game servers on a box I would suggest using the Access database so you don't need to run MYSql on your server.
