Starting error

when i try to start a CSS server it shows this error

 

Cannot start service TC08750740764365423108584 on computer '.'.

 

but if i manually do the shortcut with the command lines, it works fine.

The files are all there, it was installed correctly.

The monitor isn't working, or there is a port blocked somewhere.

i have a dedicated server box, none of the ports are blocked, any idea why the monitor isnt working?

Login to the machine. Go into the services list. Find the monitor process and restart it. If that doesn't work start the monitor in console mode and paste what you see.

i cant tried starting TCadmin Monitor via Start -> Services, it failed

"Could not start TcAdmin monitor on the local computer" but TCadmin Console works.

 

Update: running MonitorService.exe gives me this error

"Cannot start service from the command line or a debugger. A window service must first be installed (using installulti.exe) and then started with server explorer, windows services administrative tool or the NET START Command"

Try to start in console.

anything i type in console just crashes my console

He meant try starting the TCAdmin Monitor in console mode. Then try starting the server and watch the console for errors.
