Todd Holley
The monitor isn't working, or there is a port blocked somewhere.
Redxii922
i have a dedicated server box, none of the ports are blocked, any idea why the monitor isnt working?
Todd Holley
Login to the machine. Go into the services list. Find the monitor process and restart it. If that doesn't work start the monitor in console mode and paste what you see.
Redxii922
i cant tried starting TCadmin Monitor via Start -> Services, it failed "Could not start TcAdmin monitor on the local computer" but TCadmin Console works. Update: running MonitorService.exe gives me this error "Cannot start service from the command line or a debugger. A window service must first be installed (using installulti.exe) and then started with server explorer, windows services administrative tool or the NET START Command"

ECF
He meant try starting the TCAdmin Monitor in console mode. Then try starting the server and watch the console for errors.
