AT&T To filter traffic?

Just curious what your guys thoughts are on this, personally....I don't see that they would ever have any leg to stand on. I dont see the people allowing rediculous crap like that to happen...

Holy crap, have they gone mad? If I were a customer there I would be getting my service cancellation in early. Talk about having no privacy once so ever.. Thats like putting cameras in every home and in your bathroom to see if you are going to start terrorist actions against the US. Come on...

Comcast tried this not too long ago and lost. It will never happen.

3 major ISP companies are being contacted to filter out illegal movies/songs at the ISP level. PC Mag had a small article about this recently. The article mentioned they should spend the time and money filtering spam rather than torrents.

I believe Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Verizon, and AT&T were involved.

Backbone providers don't care. It's the end user networks who do the filtering.

 

Cable companies are the only ones that are doing it because of their horrible bandwidth policies.
