xpservers
Were currently runnin around 4 css, 5 1.6, 2 tf2 and 1 cod4 server off 1 quad core phenon box with 4g ram. Each server is set via tcadmin to start at cpu 0 so it forces load balance across all 4 cores. When I check my stats tho it looks like cpu 0 is taking more of a hit than the rest of the cores. 60% - 30% - 30% - 30% I also have customer complaining of lag spikes and unstable fps when server is full around 12 max at 600fps for css and 1.6 also at sys_ticrate 600. Our bandwidth pipe is definatly clean and were pulling 8mg/sec sometimes off this 1 box at peak. at 60% cpu still should not spike. Im wondering if anyone else is having issues like this and maybee some helpfull tips. I had trouble tickets

xpservers
I have 1 cod4 server which is 32 slot full almost all the time but how can I check this single process to see which cores its utilizing ? all my gameservers are checked at "always start at cpu 0"
ECF
Start on CPU 0 will do nothing for COD. It is strictly for Halflife based games.
xpservers
hrm I didnt know that, will there be any impact if I choose this setting for cod4 then or should we just leave it unchecked ?
ECF
I woulod leave it unchecked for anything except Half Life based games. And only check it if windows does not balance the games on its own.
