nosit1
I have the master server setup and I went to setup the web server (the web server doesn't need to be remote licensed does it?). Now when ever I go to page, it gives me: 3/21/2008 8:03:30 PM : Access Denied: 74.86.43.143 (the web server IP) It has the correct password in all, what could be doing it? ECF
The Webserver does not need a remote license. I am assuming that you are setting the webserver up on a different machine than the master server?
nosit1
I'm using a different server than the master for the panel. The IP for the web server is correct, and the password , encryption key and password seem correct. But it keeps saying 3/21/2008 8:03:30 PM : Access Denied: 74.86.43.
ECF
I would check that the IP you set in the setup is actuall 74.86.43.143. Windows broadcasts on the default IP of the machine, which may not be hat you entered during setup. Also, make sure that all firewalls and antivirus programs are off on both machines. nosit1
No luck, I've disabled all the firewalls, rechecked the IP's, regenerated new keys, changed passwords, changed web servers IP's. Nothing seems to be working.

JasonF
No idea, but you may want to remove your TCAdmin password from that post.
nosit1
It's not even the correct one, couple of misplaced characters (that were fixed).
nosit1
Issue is resolved. Now another question. Anything I can do to make the panel run faster, it's taking around 15-30 seconds to get from page to page.
ECF
There is a setting that can be change in the mysql.ini file. Please put in a ticket and someone will provide it for you. Just explain in the ticket about the speed issue and that you are using MYSql for you database on another machine.
JasonF
That is your server doing that. What is your server's specs and what else do you have running on it besides TCAdmin
nosit1
I have a Dual-Dual Core Intel Xeon; 2GB of ram; I was running another game server monitoring application that was using MySQL, but I have stopped it.
DougK94
Open the ticket like ECF suggested. There is a quick change it the mysql.ini for yuor MYSQL server that will speed this up for you. The change only takes seconds, and makes a BIG difference
nosit1
I have done the things that the support ticket suggested I do and it's still really slow at loading pages. - First run the MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard. Click on Next until you get to the security settings. Enter the root password and check "Enable root access from remote machines". Click Next and then Execute to apply the settings. This option is needed because enabling the command in step 2 breaks the root login even from localhost. Make sure you have a strong password. - Open my.ini and under [mysqld] add a new line with this command: skip-name-resolve - Save and restart the mysql service. Well, I can do all except the first one since it's a Lin VPS.
DougK94
What is your ping between the two boxes? Did you restart MYSQL after you made the changes?
