Just wish consumers could learn to do at least a basic check before forking over there money online, some of these guys are so transperent is stupid.

Try to order something...

e-mail sales@defconhost.com to discuss which server you are interested in, and we will continue to arrange payment and server setup.

Following your Payment, please allow up to 24 hours for us to process your payment and configure your server. We will send you an email once your server is setup, with your IP Addresses and Root Password.

We look forward to doing business with you.

Perhaps a billing system could be helpful :) lol

I am not going to mention the GSP's name, but there is one out there that has you sign up for a dedicated server and no where on their site does it mention the server's specs. It reminds me of a gum ball machine, you don't know what you are going to get until you pay your money and it falls out of the slot.

No relation here. I did notice a few threads at WHT lately about these guys though.. Worth a read if your interested.

It's an Asia based organization that is attempting to scam people via the internet with their ridiculous pricing. Remember people, if people are selling hardware that costs a few grand straight out, they're not going to sell it less for the power costs to run the dam thing. $100 (when talking to their "rep") for a C2D/Q with 5TB of bandwith? And for the record, their "chicago noc and facility" doesn't exist.....I've drove by there to be sure.
