With all due respect why don't you find another place to troll. Everyone knows how you screwed your last partner out of his business and then hid behind your "investors" load of garbage just long enough to screw your customers out of their money.

To be honest, you can go screw yourself. I did nothing personally wrong, and I did not screw my customers. You know Nothing of went on, and I love posting around these forums, and staying updated in the market that I was once in. I never screwed my other owners, and I never screwed my customers. I was not even the one who made the mistake, and crashed our servers. If you want to blame anyone, take it up with the people that were on during what went on.

 

I never gave any bull shit, I was the one who actually cared enough to post what was going on even though no one wanted me to. I don't like fly by night companies either, and if you are calling my company a fly by night one you can go ahead and call yourself just the same.

 

We had the business plan, the model, the advertising, the dedication, and the blood to go at this just like everyone else. Just because we didn't make it, and honest mistakes happened gives you no right to lash out on me.

Give me a break.. You guys weren't in business long enough to gain respect. Trying to buy your way into game hosting doesn't work and turning off your website with zero explanation just make you look like a crook.

One of our staff purchased a ventrilo server from you and hasn't heard a word from anyone concerning a refund or for that matter a simple email saying 'sorry we aren't in business." That is great you speak to Jordan, why don't you ask him who didn't double check the server list before sending it in for cancellation? Or how about the fact he was the only one with the knowledge and resources to fix what had happened? Or how about some other facts you don't even know of?

 

Jordan was the one mainly speaking with our investors when he hopped on, him and the investors were the ones who agreed upon the fact of shutting the company down. I wasn't even online the time that this had happened (the "database loss" or whatever you want to call it).. I was sick for two weeks, I got a phone call at 3am and was told "Guess what, HG is dead".

 

We were in business for three years, we had high expectations. Sorry, but not every single idea on the market, or every business that opens up doesn't always go as planned. If you want to take up why you weren't contacted.. How about asking Jordan, or Aaron.. The ones who were actually handling that side of the issue.

 

I went out of my way, to inform as best as I could have what was going on and you have the nerve to call me the one screwing people over. I am glad you talk to Jordan, good job by all means. I would like to see Jordan come and post/reply to this topic saying I personally was the one screwing him over with his business when he didn't even want to partake in this market any further (so he told us).

As much as I dislike the entire thing Rich, its time to lay off Brian at least he unlike Jordan was not telling his old clients everything will be fine I will keep your service running so please do pay up (Myself or someone I closly know was a client of both of them). Meanwhile not paying the datacenter and suddenly leaving his clients in hanging because they trusted him. And while it wasn't an all and all statement regarding what did or was to happen it was more then anyone else provided.

I doubt I would ever enter into a contract with any of them again, and have recommended the same to those I know. But if I had to do business with one of them Brian actually would top the list.

All customers of dedicated servers were transfered to the datacenters who were keeping pricing exactly the same, some customers responded back to their emails, some did not.

 

Mistakes happen, I for one am just happy to be out of the GSP market - there are just so many better things out there.

I completely enjoy it, love what we do, I enjoy getting to know these players and these teams. That should be the first thing you decide when getting into business having to do with anything, not how much money you can make. Who cares about the money when you hate what your doing. I wouldn't shit on the industry though, you're the one that decided to enter it in the first place right? and your going to have 'noobs' in any line of work you do, so don't feel thats targeted directly to gameserver providers.
