ECF
Do the following: 1. Locate and click on the current 66 tick server in the services list. 2. Click on "Service Settings" 3. Change the "Gametype" from 66 tick to 100 tick. 4. Save (if prompted for restart click yes) This will only effect the server that you make this change to. You default configs still stay the same. 24play1
and that will keep all his configs and files intact and just change the commandline
ECF
Yes. Changing the gametype will change the commandline to reflect the 100 tick rate. It will not do anything to the actual game files themselves.

Travis Bickle
I will be brief to bring this topic back alive, I want to take advantage and do understand how to use additional arguements for higher tickrate servers. My problem is that I want to use the sys_ticrate variable in my half life 1 mods, if I use additional arguements with command line parameters, will this override anything a customer might try use the text editor for the server.cfg? For example, a customer buys a 100 ticrate server, with the addtional arguement as +sys_ticrate 100, can he/she override this by adding sys_ticrate in their server.cfg? If they can, what can I do to prevent this from happening? I am using the modernbill integration using addiontal arguements. Thanks.
