JasonF
I am not one to wait to resolve an issue so I changed my MB v4 license over today. Before I mention the company, I am in no way affiliated with them and do not get any kick backs for recommending them. I went to http://www.mblicenses.com and saw someone was on live chat. I ordered a 1000 recurring MB license for $19.00/month. After receiving my welcome emails I got on live chat and had the sales person send me a newkey.php. Upload that to your MB root directory and then go log into your site. It should read the license and instruct you to delete the newkey.php file. If you are uncertain what url you have registered for your current MB license, log into ftp and download this file include/config/config.locale.php Open it with word pad and see what url you have for the $standard_url variable. You must specify with or without www. I forgot I had my current MB license set to http://www.vetwebbilling.com and they generated a license for vetwebbilling.com and it would not accept it. I had to edit that file to get my MB to accept the license. Hope this helps some of you with your MB transition.
Defcon|Rich
Correct. The license is bound to the domain it's registered under.
ECF
I did forget to mention that clients are more than welcome to choose a company on their own as well.
