GB-Sean
It gets to the password command and then hangs when I, or anyone else attempts to login. Also, when I change the port on the config menu do I need to restart the monitoring tool? Thanks for your help.
LFA
try changing the passive mode settings on your ftp client. If you are running a firewall on your server you will have to open ports 5000 to 5100 for passive mode to work, or add monitorconsole.exe and monitorservice.exe to the allow list. When changing ports you have to restart the monitor.
GB-Sean
Basically, it just holds for about 30 secounds on the password send. It doesnt do this with any other FTP server I connect to. Is there any reason why? My customers are having the same issue.
LFA
create a support ticket with the login information to your server and control panel so we can look at it. If you change the ftp port you have to restart the monitor.
