TCADMIN sometimes stops loading/blank screen

Sometimes TCADMIN appears to stop loading. Or it keeps getting half way there and then just stopping loading the page (well, loads forever). Sometimes it just goes to a white screen.

 

This usually happens in spates for 10 minutes or so before continuing. There are no hardware or network problems.

 

If you wait long enough the browser says:

 

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

 

Its quite annoying as it is so intermittent.

Apparently this can fix things. Will try later and post results.

Still doing it. Sometimes gets to load the header or half way down the page then just gives up.

How large is your log file? might want to turn off the server logging, or not have it log as many different aspects, sometimes with Access that database can get huge quickly and stammer to a nice crawl

Its been logging processor and memory but only for about a month...

The database will grow very quickly if you don't purge it often. You may want to try setting it to purge every 7 days.

Ive just cleared out the logs and it seems to have stopped happening. Time will tell...

 

Should I switch to SQL? Does SQL use more resources?
