No News Displayed for admins

I can't figure this one out. On the Admin Home page there is no new at the bottom below the icons. This problem occurs on our custom template and with stock ones.

 

We have several news items that go up weekly and I am getting tired of not seeing them as an admin. I have tried just sending the news item to myself and still nothing. Is it because I have no game servers "owned" to my account?

The news is only displayed to the owner of the service it is directed to.

 

i.e. - if you have news for a BF2 server and choose bf2 servers in the game filter, it is only displayed to BF2 server owners.

 

Have you tried clicking on admin in the user filter and a game server in the game filter and see if that shows up to owners of that game server and you?

Well when I post general news I set the News Item to All Datacenters, All Servers, All Games, and All Users.

 

I am going to kep fiddling around with it.

The funny thing is I used to see the news but I do not longer see. I am refering to our initial install of TCAdmin. Before we turned on all the plugins, and added games, etc, etc.

 

For fun I changed the owner of a service to me. Previously I was not the owner of any service. I set the news item to all except for the users and picked just myself. I now have news displayed on the Admin Homepage.

 

I think TCAdmin will never give someone news unless they are the owner of a service. I think this is really a bug as "All Users" really should be all users.

Okay here is what makes me laugh hard....The most recent TCAdmin update is actually listed as a news item on my admin homepage. I personally didn't change anything and now it seems to be working somewhat...
