CSS Install

I have installed CS:S in place of a server that wasnt working with mani to get a fresh start. So I copied all of the settings and deleted the old server then created a new one. Im having 2 issues here...

 

1. I cant ftp into that server to re-install mani

2. it wont update I just get this error.

Stopping the game server...

Game server has been stopped.

File does not exist: ./HldsUpdateTool.exe

You need to put the hldsupdatetool.exe in this folder.

 

C:\Program Files\TCAdmin Control Panel\Monitor

or wherever you have TCADMIN installed.

everything is there and it still does not work get error

I have installed this via cmd numerous times with no issues is it ftp related???

You have the HLDSupdate.EXE inside the tcadmin/monitor folder on the server you are trying to update? Not in the game folder, the monitor folder where TCADMIN is installed?

 

If it is in the correct place the updater should be seen by TCA.

 

And mani has .dll files which are restricted by default TCA settings.

As long as you have not changed other settings such as the HLDUpdate tool directory within TCAdmin or the game name in the game config it should be fine.
