Been a long time since Ive been around here... A year infact. Hard to believe its been that long.

How is everyone doing? The new job is great, and... I now work days;)

 

Figured I'd jump in and see what's up with everyone. Good to see some of the posts, like from JasonF, and DougK.

Na, I am still here. Just no longer Overnight DC Manager. I am doing internal systems now, as a 9-5 person in our corp office. I help maintain all our windows systems (not internal workstations, but WSUS servers, provisioning for windows, etc).

Going good. Just been busy with stuff. I setup a 55 gallon saltwater aquarium back in August...

 

Its finally starting to take off.

 

 

Jay and Silent Bob are doing well in it (those are the two clownfish).

Tank looks great! We've got one in our office, tropical not salt. How much work do you do on a weekly basis to keep it clean/healty?

I spend about 20 - 30 minutes a day at the tank working on it. Those are for tests I run, watching the fish, scraping the glass, etc. I usually spend 1 - 2 hours on the weekend on it.

 

This time includes water changes, saltwater mixing, etc. I have another tank Im working on getting running right now for some aggressive fish.

 

I have a filter that takes everything out of tap water, down to just H2O. I then add saltmix to that. I keep 2x 36 gallon Brute trash cans around for water creation. 1 is for the pure water, and one is on wheels for salt mix.

 

I wish we had a huge one at work.
