RackGaming
Hey everyone, All my servers are empty. The reason being that when you try to connect to a server it comes up with an Iw3mp.exe error. It just shows a black screen until you click the escape button. I suspected at first it was DX 9c not being installed so I re-loaded it even though dxdiag showed it was installed. I restarted dedi and tried again, yet I got same issue. I then thought maybe it was a patch issue so I started from scratch, Installed v1.0 COD4 then installed patch 1.6 touched file and then tried again it give me the message i was expecting (server version is 1.6) so I installed 1.7 then. I try again and I got the I3wmp.exe error issue again. Im lost for ideas. Can you enlighten me please cos im going crazy here lol Thanks guys. RackGaming
Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this to happen?
RackGaming
I have now fixed this issue. The problem was due to a faulty installation & also touched files. Using the exe patches fixed the issue along with a fresh upload of a retail COD4.
