The files for COD4/5 are not publicly available, you have to get the game which includes the files. If you're going to be hosting the game I would at least expect you to own the client too for any ingame-troubleshooting. I'd suggest getting it off Steam, so you don't have to spend ages uploading it.

Hence why I suggest buying/downloading it off steam.

 

There is no location to download the server, it is only distributed with the game itself. So you have to upload the files or buy the game off a download service such as steam.

It is very simple, upgrade your connection to a faster upload, buy it from steam or direct2drive.com or just complain and hope the magic game fairy installs it while you sleep. I'm pretty sure the latter is the easiest way:roll:.

Make a cd, mail it to the datacenter and have them stick it in the drive. Any reasonable datacenter will do this.

Might want to try other forums for that, the majority of your audience here are reputable GSPs that wouldn't touch that request.

I dunno it's just server files wth? I'm not sharing the game or even asking it! Just server files! It won't let people playing on without the game... Why is CSS, dods, dod, ... sharing all their servers files but not CALL OF DUTY! That's amazing!

It is not just Call of Duty but MANY games. Some publishers release standalone dedicated files and some do not.
