Best way to upload many GB

Hi all

 

I'm trying everyting to upload Cod5 folder in server but it seem to be impossible. The only way i can upload it is to zip the entire Cod5 folder in many part of 100 MB each. Now that i've about 100 zip parts i can send max 3 part in one time. Why? Connection timeout, error, FTP close connection.

 

I tryed FTP, shared folder, pc to server 1 to server 2 (ye, i know it's useless but i was trying to understand if it was server2 problem), p2p software client to server.

 

Is possible that there is no way to upload all files in one time only?

get a TCadmin account with a host that also provides the game files

 

that way you wont have to upload them you can install them with TCadmin ...............it grabs them from an external FTP thats how i do it with my server

As you mention, you could use a private bittorrent connection between your server and you to transfer it all at once with error checking built in. It would take time but aside from a digital download from Steam etc you don't have much choice (Is COD5 even available on a digital download service?)
