Which OS is best for games hosting?

So which OS is best for game hosting?

 

Windows or Linux? Please give your reasons also.

Windows - For the simple reason that not all games are supported with Linux especially the latest releases. You can guarantee a game will be available for Windows.

There are no "best for games" OS. You have to choose the OS that you know

For my part it's Windows as we're already Windows specialists and most of games are released only with windows server version

But as TCAdmin is running on Windows only ...

I vote windows, because it's what I am familiar with. I can use linux, but if there is a problem my windows knowledge means I can fix it rather than having to get help from elsewhere with Linux. Having said that, there are some tools on Linux I like which make dealing with certain things easier.

 

Windows also has TCAdmin, without which i'd still be doing everything by hand
