{-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
We found the problem it was a file issue. Two different CD's and the 3rd was the charm, it fires right up.
SickPuppy
The game is a pain in the ass to get up and running but it uses very little resources. Now we have to install 3D video cards into all of our servers.
HIS-MOTHER
FYI.. Do not run them windowed using SM or it will crash your desktop shell. Run them full screen, yes its a PIA but all u need do when you login is bring up the task manager and it will minimize. running more than say 10 will cause all sorts of issues if you run them windowed. ptadmin
I have ran the legacy games like this for years and its really come down to I will not host them as shared servers. The customers just rent one of our small single core processor servers and they run all their goods on it babstats and all those silly programs that goes with BHD. The video card requires has been a major headache and I dont understand how they have not added the /serve command like most normal game developers would. I am sure their new game will be designed just as stupid as the rest which means no bypassing the video card checks if they do that on Angel fails I will be amazed and how much they dont support the multiplayer community.
