Always had problems with dodge products air conditioners... dodge charger, dodge ram and dodge dually. All of them had air conditioner problems that would never stay fixed..... On the other hand I have a ford F250 diesel that has 100k+ miles on it and have done 0 fixing to it, had 0 problems. I also get 24 MPG after K&N air filter and reprogramming the chip. :)

I had a Dodge Dart back a few years ago. I was pulled over by a State Trooper for my left backup light staying on. So I did what everyone else would do and unplugged it. Thanked the cop got into the drivers seat, then the thing would not start. Man I was mad it was running fine. About 30 minutes later after I checked everything else out I thought I would replace the light. My friend thought I was off my rocker but what did I have to loose. Plugged it in and then the car started right up. Unplugged and plugged it in a couple times to make sure. Then I found out I didn't need the backup light in if I turned the right turn signal light on or the heater fan. Once the car was started I could turn them off car would run fine.

None of them. I will NEVER drive an American car. I like my Mercedes. I've owned Accra's, Honda's (same thing).

American cars are built cheap. Toyota, Honda, Euro are the way to go.

Again all of the cars built in the US now are made from the same parts suppliers. All the do is just put them together, they don't make cars anymore like they used to do. Most of them don't even stamp the sheet metal for the car anymore.

Toyota is an exception, they make really decent products that run forever. I test drove a lexus IS300 and I liked it, but insurance was outrageous.

My dad had 3 chevy's and they all had problems within the first 30k miles, such as; starter went out, rear tail lights stopped working, blown head gasket, engine sludge, windshield wiper motor went out 3 times, replaced all the rotors.

My old acura legend had 220,000 miles and the only problem I ever had was I had to replace the battery

I guess every car maker has its problems. I have heard of Toyotas having issues 1 week after leaving the lot. Now this may not be commonplace but it does happen.

By the way Monk, Mercedes has one of the worst track records recently with their cars failing shortly after purchase. Not to mention the cost to have them fixed is pricy.

I looked at one but after reading some consumer reports I decided against getting one.

I've had mine for awhile, no issues. Only issue I ever had was my sidemarker light went out, and my driver side headlamp burnt out. Can't complain, car has 103,000.

Still on the original plugs, too.

I know a few people that have them, the only problems were with the M-classes
