Hi Rob from Bobsternet server hosting here can my ip be unbanned so i can buy a license not to sure why it has been banned when unbanned can a admin email me @ admin@bobsternet.co.uk

TCA banned you? I took a look at your site and you don't seem to use TCA. Did you perhaps have some words with the staff?

My point is TCA doesn't work on linux. This is simply based off of an assumption that he is using linux, guessing by the banners on his public site.

TS servers can run on a linux server and be tied to the System Settings >> Voice Server Settings section. Also the System Settings >> File Server can be run on a linux server.

We do not ban IPs because they run linux. However we do ban IPs from our ordering system if you enter a trial order with bogus info, or if you order a license and never pay the first invoice as this tends to be someone attempting to defraud the company.

 

I would imagine you would have done one fo the above.

Either way, its in my opinion, not to do business with jerks who do either of those things.

It could be by a very large chance that your IP is dynamic and has been reassigned if you haven't done anything that ECF stated

i do have a dynamic ip that could be the case i could get a new but it means keeping modem off for 12 hours

You should just need to reset your modem by powering it off for around 5 mins. If not call your ISP and explain the situation.
