VicToMeyeZR Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 I don't know if I am the only one, but we have 22 AA3 server instances and if this resource usage stays like it is, there is NO way you can afford to host it unless you go 22 different boxs and only put 1 on each one. WTF is wrong with this damn game? I just restared one that was using 1.25GB of RAM all by itself. The whole time the server is running is continually builds RAM usage. I didn't see ANY of this during the BETA, and now their Dev's were fired. Wow, is all I can say. Anyone else seeing this kind of crap? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have servers going from 500MB to 1.5GB and it will take over the entire system. They have messed this release up bad. We even told them in a letter this needed to wait for a couple more weeks before they went full release. But what do us GSP's know about anything. The "Big" beta release was about 15 or so people. And just last week they opened it to the public and some other things started to show up. I didn't think anyone could screw up a release as bad as ASR did but I was proven wrong. I was able to play the game fine until the new release and it will not even load on my system. I am way above specs for the game. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same here doesn't matter what the server specs are 1-2 games will keep consuming memory on the server. We've only had a couple client servers that have actually stayed up since late friday night and there always full. SickPuppy Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Some of the issues we are seeing now were present during the Beta and a few new ones have popped up. I am sure it will be resolved soon but for right now it is killing us. We are basically restricting AA3 installs to a max of 2 per server. I would also recommend restarting them every 6 to 8 hours.
