Twisted_
Just wondering what kind of speeds for page loading are normal, going into gaming services or a game server is 8 seconds. Is this normal or slow ? I've disabled name resolving and setup direct db connections, most of the other pages come up in less than 1 second. ECF
It depends on the number of servers you have and where they are actually located geographically to each other.
studeggle
Also at the bottom of edit settings page for your template is some checkboxes for additional information that can be displayed on the game servers page. If some or all of these are checked it will slow the load of that page as more information needs to be retrieved before it can be shown.
Twisted_
There is two remotes, the master + web and both remotes are located in same datacenter. I tried unchecking the options under template but it hasn't made much of a difference.
HIS-MOTHER
It also loads slower if you moved it from the default display of 10 rows per page.
franky500
Where the Web is located can make a big difference, Have 2 remotes a master and a web here also, again the 2 remotes are in 1 DC, the master and the web in another. But they are geographically very close to each other, i show 30 Rows in anything from 2 - 4 seconds. It used to take 8 - 12 seconds when i had the webserver hosted further away. So thats what will make the biggest of differences.
Derek
What kind of hardware are you running for the master ? What else is on the box ?
DougK94
If you are using a MySQL database, this helps tremendously http://clients.tcadmin.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&catid=11&id=
swish
It also loads slower if you moved it from the default display of 10 rows per page. using 25 lines and I get under 1 sec load times.
Twisted_
The box the master is installed on is a dual single core 3.2ghz xeons, the only thing running on it is the master and web server. I'll have to have a better look at the box the master/web server is on based on the replies in this thread, the setup seems to be ideal conditions (master/web server on same machine + remotes in same datacenter). I've already done everything listed in the knowledge base.
peace
Do you have any web-security soft such as Kaspersky or NOD32? I had the same problem with web-security activated.
