Add an arguement for a service

I know I can go into individual server installs and add an argument to a client's start up, but is there a way for me to add an argument to a service command line and have it forced for all clients, so I don't have to individually go into each one and put it in there?

I didn't add the argument to any of my services yet. I didn't want to go through the hassle of having to edit it in so many services. Thanks for the replies, guys!

as his-mother said, submit a ticket and ask luis for the update services script. This will update all services to whatever is set in your game configuration.

Ok, got the script and ran it a few days ago. I made some changes today and ran the script today and now I'm getting an error saying Objects.Service.Update: '(the heart symbol)' , hexidecimal value 0x03 is an invalid character. Line 1, position 3.

It does this a few times on some of the services, then finally it stops the update saying "An exception occurred while executing the script. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. '(heart symbol)', hexidecimal value 0x03 is an invalid character. Line 1, position 3.

Then the script stops.

Any ideas?

if u just edit the default command line and default custom command line then it will apply to all servers after they get restarted. Simple as that.

You can use a scripts to restart all the game servers of a specified game, they have been posted in this forum.

I know that and I used the script successfully once, but now I'm getting those messages I posted about. Could my database be corrupt? If so, is there a program to check the integrity and fix errors? It's not a MySQL database, it's the default one. MS database of some sort? I forget.
