Polarbear
Hello, I'm looking for somebody that can get my TCAdmin fully working with no errors, and with the WHMCS module working. If you are known to be trusted I will give you admin login to tcadmin and whmcs, and remote desktop login to the windows server, then if you can get everything working for me I will send you $25 via paypal. Whats currently been done: TCAdmin advanced module installed and configured, although this currently gives an api error. TCAdmin configured lots, although only a few games installed, and css servers say they are started, when they are really not responding. (Not a firewall problem, I've tried turning whole firewall off to test it) WHMCS fully installed and configured, although only have 1 automatic game package setup, css, which is giving an api error What needs doing: FTP server fixed CSS server fixed WHMCS api error fixed More games setup & configured on TCAdmin, and working. More games then linked on whmcs and packages setup Voice servers setup, configured and linked to whmcs. Remote TCAdmin server installed, and configured with TCAdmin main server, and whmcs. Please let me know if you're wanting to help, either by posting here or adding me on steam: polarbear102. Thanks, Polarbear.
studeggle
Pm's are turned off on this board FYI. I could fix your FTP, CSS, API errors, and configure an initial working autosetup to your package design. But configuring all the types games, types of voice servers, creating packages for each of them could be months worth of work. There are practically countless number of games out there so a simple more games statement is opening someone up to a full time commitment until you close your doors all for 25$ now that wouldn't be fair would it. Instead of the statement "more games and voice servers", what about CSS only (for game servers), and 3 voice severs, teamspeak, ventrilo and mumble, for $25? If you're interested please add me on steam, if you don't have/use steam, I will send you a message with my msn in, I had a look and it lets you send messages? Thanks, Polarbear. studeggle
Critical question since you are requesting voice servers. Do you have a license for Teamspeak? Ventrilo? You are aware that if you sell mumble through tcadmin you must turn off ftp and file manager or clients will be able to edit the size of there server. trancemode
You aren't able to host Vent or Teamspeak without a official license from Ventrilo themselves.
Polarbear
You aren't able to host Vent or Teamspeak without a official license from Ventrilo themselves. No really..? But you're wrong, you can host small slot voice servers without a license, and the official license doesn't need to be bought from ventrilo themselves, I could just use a reseller, then I would still be hosting ventrilo or teamspeak servers. And I do have a license, as I said in the post above, so that comment you just said is 100% pointless.
ECF
You can only host (1) 8 slot instance of Vent per server, and it cannot be "for profit". The 8 slot Vent free server binds itself to all IPs and ports on a server so you cannot host more than one. This is just for informational purposes only. Just like what ECF said.. you do need a license and if you don't you can only host a 8 slot ventrilo only but you can't sell those slots. Also reseller accounts like Darkstar, hurricanehost has their own control panel and you can't use TCadmin to set it up. However you can use the reseller and WHMCS together to make it auto setup if that is what your trying to do or what you were trying to say. And to let you know one hint .. having a reseller doesn't mean you have a VENTRILO LICENSE basically you just have the rights to sell them from your company under which ever reseller you use but it doesn't make you an official provider without a official license from either Ventrilo or Teamspeak themselves. Which Ventrilo has a list to show this: http://ventrilo.com/hosting.php Teamspeak is found here: https://sales.tritoncia.com/ts3_hosters.php Ventrilo isn't easy to get a license however Teamspeak is. If you did get one from Ventrillo I would be amazed.
ECF
I think Darkstar has a TCAdmin API that ties into their reseller system somehow for automated setups. I may be mistaken, but I thought that there was a thread about it somewhere around here...
