Need help rfactor and whmcs

rFactor is not hard to setup on TCAdmin and WHMCS it's all of the MODs and Tracks that will give you a problem. Also you will need to set up a batch file for rFactor HotLaps if you are going to offer that.

There are other issues with rFactor and track setups. You need to do a little research and play around with installing and running servers. HostileContact has developed an extensive TCAdmin config and collected 100s of MODs and Tracks and set them up for auto install.

Not as easy as it looks running servers is it Robert, you should have figured that out from all the years you were a HostileContact customer. ARCA and NASCAR are just as hard.

Paying someone to setup tcadmin with rfactor and whmcs on my server will pay good 150 dollars email me nathan@finishlineservers.com

next time consider running test and learning game hosting before opening a gsp so u dont have to pay some1 to run it for you. nothing personal, just too many ppl think they can buy a domain name and a software licence to make $.

Why do you guys always bash somebody for wanting to start a business? maybe he's stuck at some point just like everybody else on this forum has been at one point in time and he's willing to pay for it instead of taking hand outs. There's always failures in start up businesses not just the gsp industry. You ever look in the phone book and see all of the new companies in one year and gone the next? it's part of life quit bitching about it and run your own business.....

because obvously he didnt do the basic things any1 has to do when starting a GSP :

- make sure your knowledge of the games is solid enough else learn before going next step

- make sure your Server admin skills are solid enough else learn before going next step

- make sure you have filled the legal documents else do it before going next step

- make sure your whole setup is fully working (website, panel, integration) else keep working on it before going next step

- make sure you or your staff members have availabilities and skills to provide proper support else forget about it.

its not about bashing newcomers its about bashing ppl who think GSP = easy money. Those have never spent weeks/months in setting up their business and would like to get everything working within a day, even better if some1 does the job for them.

150$ to get a business started? cmon let's get serious.

not to menbtion doing it for him is not helping him. If hes stuck at this point you can be sure he will get stuck again tomorrow and the day next.

Basically Im helping him telling him to learn the job instead of trying to get spoon fed. Can sound rude but life is rude and business is even more rude.

Basically the reason I chimed was not because he asked for help, more so because $150 is being offered to do it for him - not even to teach him. I'd rather not see someone pay $150 to set-up rFactor and learn nothing from it... (I believe SickPuppy and Dimitri have the same reasoning, its not because we don't want to see him start one up)

I never bashed anyone, I think it is great that he wants to start a new GSP. Just pointing out that it is not as easy as it looks. If he can't setup TCAdmin and WHMCS do you think he will be able to support the games and all the issues they have.

Let's try to keep on topic here people. The reason why I am leaving the current posts is so people will understand that starting a GSP is not a point and click venture like webhosting has become.

There are many thing you must learn about the games you host and how to support them.

However. The OP has requested help and is willing to pay for it, so if you are not interested in helping then please refrain from posting.

Thank you!
